How a virus changes our economy and society: Two contributions from Tirol Tourism Research

Even if the current corona situation is a major challenge for many industries, companies and people, something new arises from every crisis. Birgit Bosio from Tirol Tourism Research (TTR) and Senior Lecturer at MCI - The Entrepreneurial School® is investigating this topic.

A few weeks ago, we would have shaken our heads in disbelief if someone had told us what the world looks like today: that the economy has come to a standstill in many areas, there is hardly any tourism worldwide, and we spend most of our time in our four walls and mouth-nose protection becomes an everyday companion. The current situation is characterized by major challenges. Nevertheless, something new arises from every crisis.
