The City

Guangzhou, also known as Canton, is the capital and most populous city of the province of Guangdong in southern China. It has a history of over 2,200 years and was a major terminus of the maritime Silk Road, and continues to serve as a major port and transportation hub.
Guangzhou is the main manufacturing center of the Pearl River Delta, one of mainland China's leading commercial and manufacturing regions. It is considered one of the most prosperous cities in China.

The University

Jinan University (abbreviated JNU) is a public research and comprehensive university based in Guangzhou city in China. It is one of the oldest universities established in China. It is the first university in China to recruit foreign students, and is currently a Chinese university with the largest number of international students.
Jinan University has a lot of famous subjects home and aboard, such as Science of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science, Science of Chemistry, Science of Engeneering, Science of Economics, Science of Finance, Science of Journalism and Communication as well as Chinese Language and Literature.
