OVERVIEW RECOGNITION OF COURSES FOR STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES – BACHELOR

For each semester in which a student representative is continuously active, the ECTS in the curriculum for the corresponding modules or courses as well as for freely selectable modules or courses (e.g. freely selectable electives) are reduced to the following extent*:

• Chairperson and deputy chairperson of the university representation: max. 8 ECTS
• Heads of units and the deputy head of economic affairs: max. 8 ECTS
• Chairpersons of the study program representation, as well as officials in charge of the university representation: max. 6 ECTS
• Members of the university representation: max. 6 ECTS (also delegated members as part of the MCI Academic Council)
• All other student representatives (deputy student representatives, class representatives, also delegated members as part of the MCI Academic Council): max. 2 ECTS
• Chairpersons of governing bodies §15 (2): max. 6 ECTS

Students must submit an online application for recognition at least two weeks before the start of the course in question. The courses recognized for the activities of the student representation receive the assessment "recognized" on the semester certificate or transcript of record. At the end of the semester, each student representative receives a confirmation of his/her activity as a student representative (must be requested).
