Tyrolit - one of the leading manufacturers of bonded grinding, cutting, sawing, drilling and dressing tools - has been a cooperation partner of the MCI in research and development since 2017.
Within the scope of research projects, the two companies have worked together to establish suitable analytical methods for determining the granular moisture content of a grinding wheel compound. Different grinding wheel mixtures were analyzed, different quality characteristics were determined and the knowledge gained was collected in a test system for reproducible measurement.
