Industrial Engineering & Management

The bachelor degree course in Industrial Engineering & Management communicates the basics of technical and scientific subjects, and equips students with a broad spectrum of knowledge in engineering. In specialized courses the students additionally acquire scientific competence in technically relevant and economic areas of focus, as well as social skills.

Industrial engineers and managers are in demand all over the world: Graduates are endowed with the necessary expertise, methodological competence, and problem-solving skills to cope with technological challenges under consideration of economic aspects, and to recognize and make creative use of promising business opportunities.

Structure 1st – 4th semester: Fundamentals and core curriculum
5th or 6th semester: International semester and first Bachelor thesis
5th or 6th semester: 12 weeks internship abroad or in Austria
6th semester: Bachelor theses and final exam
Time model Full-time study:
Monday – Friday during the day
Part-time study:
Compulsory attendance Fridays from midday and Saturdays the whole day;
Thursdays evenings and additional block seminars may be required
Academic year Full-time study:
Winter semester: October – January
Summer semester: March – June
Part-time study:
Winter semester: September - January
Summer semester: mid-February - mid-July

Admission requirements Applicants with a university entrance qualification;
