Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering*The Master’s in Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering offers a high quality training in engineering with excellent career opportunities in the fields of green technologies. Sustainability in a world of limited resources is increasingly becoming a critical issue in our current economy, which calls for innovative processes and technologies. Students of process engineering at the MCI acquire specialized knowledge and methodological competence needed to conquer such demanding technical challenges. With additional classes in economics and law, the Master’s program offers a well-grounded and internationally relevant university training.
NEW: Elective Plant Engineering and Operations
Plant engineering constitutes one of the core areas of modern process engineering as a whole. The subjects that are covered include automation, logistics, and plant design. The module also includes the practical application of computeraided plant design.
NEW: Elective Chemical Engineering
This module, at the interface of chemistry and process engineering, fulfills the requirements of today’s industry by dealing with core issues of industrial scale-up, chemical product design, advanced catalysis, and polymer chemistry.
NEW: Elective Environmental Engineering
This module deals with technical processes for environmental protection and the restoration of damaged ecosystems as well as the development of technology-based environmental measures. The focus is on water and air pollution control, waste treatment and systems analyses.
NEW: Elective Energy Engineering
Students of this module gain advanced knowledge of technologies for the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly, and profitable conversion, storage, and use of energy in all its forms.
