When I look back at my time at MCI...

I remember an exciting, intensive, and very formative period of my life. Completing a degree alongside professional life is challenging, but it teaches you how to work in a structured way and set clear priorities. In addition, what you learn can be applied directly in practice. My five years at MCI significantly shaped my personal development.

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

In my current role as Maintenance Leader, solution-oriented thinking and a structured approach to technical challenges are just as important as strong social skills. Demanding challenges can only be solved together with a high-performing team. As a leader, it is essential to pursue company goals while also representing the interests of team members. Therefore, in addition to technical expertise, so-called soft skills are required. My studies helped me develop further in both areas.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

I can recommend studying at MCI 100 percent. It is about much more than attending lectures and taking exams. You get to know many motivated fellow students and lecturers from whom you can learn, especially during joint project work. The shared time also provides exciting insights into other professional fields, and friendships are formed that last well beyond the study period.
