When I look back at my time at MCI...
... I am now absolutely certain that my decision to study at the MCI was the right one. That was exactly what I needed in my careless youth: clear structures, motivating teaching content and a strict performance principle. Above all, the moments that have supported and challenged me both in my personal and professional development, I will remember well.
Motivated fellow students and demanding projects with their interactive preparation and competent lecturers were the key elements of my studies. The inspiring, entertaining evenings with fellow students and with new friends in Cafe Dinzler or on the MCI roof terrace provided the perfect balance. If I had to make the decision to start studying at the age of 18 again, I would do the same thing as back then.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
The unique combination of theory and practice offered at MCI prepares you perfectly well for the tough world of business. In particular, the further development of strategic thinking has helped me enormously, not only for my professional life, but also in my private life.
In the first few semesters, we were provided with a solid theoretical basis, which we were then able to quickly test for its suitability for everyday work by means of emphatic practice-oriented projects, semesters abroad, and in various internships.
In order to meet the demanding requirements of the MCI, you learn to define clear goals and work consistently towards achieving them, which was also a very important life experience for me.
