Study program: Management & Law (Bachelor)

When I look back at my time at MCI...

…Today, I can say that it was definitely the right decision to study at MCI. It was not always easy, and even quite challenging at times, but the excellent lecturers and not least, the beautiful views of the mountains, really made it worth it. Now that my fellow students are working in a wide variety of industries and companies, the basis for a broad-based network has been established. The studies also enabled me to spend an unforgettable semester abroad in Hawaii, US, which would probably never have happened otherwise. All in all, I am very grateful for having been able to spend those three wonderful years in Innsbruck.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

The broadly diversified curriculum of the Bachelor degree program Management & Law helps to establish a fundamental knowledge in both business administration and legal fields, which is then further refined in later professional life. I particularly appreciated the focus on practical relevance through practical projects on both the legal and economic aspects, executed by lecturers with an academic and/or an economic background. To this day, I still benefit from my knowledge of company law, civil law and tax law, which I acquired during my studies. Especially in my field of activity, M&A, a broad business and legal knowledge provide a solid foundation.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

Studying at MCI promises excellent lectures combined with a beautiful city and beautiful surroundings. The MCI's commitment to continuous improvement is ever-present.
