When I look back at my time at MCI...
… I remember a wonderful, intensive and challenging time that laid an essential foundation for my personal and professional development. The entire environment at MCI, especially the teaching methods, the lecturers and above all my fellow students, made my three years at the MCI an eventful and instructive period of my life.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
Many of my professional career steps made it essential for me to fall back on the foundation of “networked thinking” which was taught at MCI. Within the extensive field of the study program Management and Law, you have to deal at an early stage with processing and structuring a lot of information quickly by recognizing connections through networked thinking. Precisely, the interdisciplinary and practice-oriented approach demonstrated at MCI has fostered this. In a world that is becoming increasingly complex, and where simple "linear" solutions are no longer sufficient, networked thinking is an essential skill that makes a positive contribution in any professional environment.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
MCI lives up to its slogan "The Entrepreneurial School®" and accordingly, in my opinion, it is important to deal with the characteristics of an entrepreneur. If you are a passionate, goal-oriented and ambitious person, and want to grow beyond your own limits, MCI is definitely the right place for you.
