Study Program: Nonprofit-, Social- & Health Management (Bachelor)

When I look back at my time at MCI...

I see a diverse group of students selected for the program, dedicated staff and plenty of thought and effort that goes into semester and curriculum planning, empathetic, professional relationships with the lecturers, great infrastructure, and lots of fun!

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

What stands out to me is the great deal of time that I spent on group projects: Defining a problem statement, bouncing and prioritizing initial ideas, agreeing on a way forward, plenty of trial and error, and individual and group decision-making processes - all of these aspects are present in a professional career, time and times again. Also, the social, economic, financial, and legal subjects that we covered as part of the curriculum provided me with a solid set of tools that I can refer to whenever needed.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

First and foremost, do it! Studying at MCI certainly requires a great deal of commitment to follow a schedule that can be stressful and tight at times. However, upon finishing your studies, you will be equipped with a toolbox that is highly relevant to any professional reality, and both your social and professional skills and competencies will continue to grow. You will be ready to enter the job market, enrich and enhance your career, or find new opportunities with a head start!

What is your motto?

Hard work pays off.
