Study Program: Social Work (Bachelor)

When I look back at my time at MCI...

studying in Innsbruck has been one of the best timets of my life so far. Besides it being an intense degree program, it was mainly the friends, the city and the mountains that made this time unforgettable.

How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?

From the beginning, I was more interested in the socio-pedagogical field and, thanks to internships in Austria and abroad, I was able to get to know different organizations and gain a lot of experience in this field. An extensive insight into sociology, psychology, law and political science helped to better understand social conditions. Last but not least, the scientific perspective was also very helpful to question the standards of information and communication.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?

The well-structured organization at MCI makes it possible to successfully complete the bachelor's degree within 3 years and provides a good theoretical foundation, a solid basis for scientific work. In addition, the program allowed for the opportunity to gain sufficient practical experience and, thanks to the good networking, to complete an international semester.
