The Master program offers first-class further education and specialisation in Digital Economy & Leadership, which is practical and immediately applicable from day one.
The "New Economy" is revolutionizing entire business models, working environments, networks and processes. In this area of conflict, the Entrepreneurial School® together with "investment punk" Gerald Hörhan has developed an innovative Master program for decision-makers and entrepreneurs, which refers to the new requirements in a unique way.
Stage I:
Introductory phase: Basics of business administration, basics in digitalization and ITDepending on previous education and academic qualifications, previous knowledge can be accredited at this stage, on request.
Stage II:
The latest topics of the Digital Economy. The team of lecturers are in close contact with entrepreneurs of the New Economy, such as in Silicon Valley. Topics include new business models, data science and data management, IT security, legal issues such as intellectual property, trends and developments such as block chain technology, but also leadership and employee management issues, ethics and responsibility and many more.
Special highlight: Development of an individual business plan, which is supervised and coached by Gerald Hörhan.
Stage III:
All aspects of digitization are transferred to the corporate level. Special attention is paid to the new demands on corporate cultures, teams, leadership, decision-making, processes and communication structures in the context of the Digital Economy.
Stage IV:
Preparation of a Master thesis on a scientific level, which deals with a problem within one’s own organization or their respective professional environment. The upshot is the final transfer of the acquired knowledge into one’s own professional practice taking place.

The postgraduate Master program Digital Economy & Leadership MSc lasts two years and can be studied part-time. The MCI's innovative blended learning concept combines synchronous and asynchronous learning phases with attendance phases, thus allowing a maximum of flexibility in terms of time and location.
The attendance phases are completed in nine two- to three-day seminars, each of which take place on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The remainder of the study program takes place in an interactive mode via the modern and highly developed online learning environments of the MCI and the Investment Punk Academy.
An intelligent mix of online phases, attendance modules and electronic media links location-independent study with personal interaction between lecturers and students. The didactic concept thus differs fundamentally from a typical distance-learning program while meeting the highest standards.

For persons who do not have an academic degree but who can demonstrate an exceptional professional track record, the following additional requirements are provided for admission:
Standardized MSc test or GMATThe standardized MSc test or GMAT tests perceptiveness, problem-solving ability, speed, resilience, intelligence and linguistic competence/text comprehension. The scope, content and level of difficulty of the MSc test taken at MCI correspond to the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). An examination fee of EUR 125,- is charged for the standardized MSc Test. If the candidate can prove that he/she has achieved the GMAT score within the last three years, the GMAT score can be credited (GMAT score > 610; see www.gmac.com).
The admission procedure provides for the following elements:
Online applicationThe application must be submitted in the form of a standardized online-application accompanied by the required documents (curriculum vitae, essay on medium-term career goals). An academic degree and minimum three years of professional experience in a qualified position prior to commencement of the program (ideally, qualified professional activity during the MBA program itself) are required.
Personal interviewThe interview gives applicants the opportunity to present themselves personally, to narrate their career history, to explain their motivation for applying to this program as well as to describe their medium-term professional goals.
DecisionAn admission committee reaches the final decision on the applicant’s admission to the Master program.
