When we look back at our time at MCI...
...we can both look back on an excellent environment, which made goal-oriented learning easy. In addition, we made many friendships that remained even after graduation and led to a very good professional network. The helpful interaction between lecturers and students made it easier to ask questions about teaching topics, which meant that even more challenging topics were easy to learn.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
Studying Environmental, Process & Energy Engineering at MCI had a positive influence on our career as founders and managing directors of LAMBDA heat pumps in many respects. Due to the practical relevance, it was extremely helpful to apply our knowledge of thermodynamics to the field of refrigeration technology. Thermal process engineering, measurement technology and control engineering were, as sub-areas of the study, essential for the implementation of our patented process control. Through the final theses, we were able to gain a better understanding of structured work, which was very useful to us in the foundation and development of our research projects.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
