How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
In my position as Product Cost Manager I act at the interface of economy and technology. Because of current market requirements to continuously reduce product costs, it is part of my responsibility to launch and manage initiatives for the enhancement of the company’s competitive edge. The degree course in Industrial Engineering & Management has equipped me with economic foundations, ranging from breakeven analysis to capital budgeting, without which I would not be able to fulfill my tasks as Product Cost Manager. The comprehensive project management skills I acquired at MCI have proved to be particularly relevant in the implementation of above-mentioned initiatives.
