When I look back at my time at MCI...
"... I feel a great deal of satisfaction and the confirmation that I made the right choice with the decision to enroll at this university. The values, which the MCI represent, can be reconciled very well with my personal values. For example, we students were required to do something that is 100% consistent in the sense of imparting knowledge and preparing for further professional development. In addition, good friends were gained in this time, with whom we get together on a regular basis in the form of Think Tanks.
How did your studies prepare you for your current job?
"As part of my professional life, I was looking for a course of study that would encompass as broad a spectrum as possible while offering insights into various specialist areas. In the digital age, in which we are still in our infancy, speed is more important than ever. It is about understanding complex issues quickly, making business decisions and inspiring customers. New ways of working such as agile project management can help, but the principles of traditional project management, corporate law or controlling must be mastered in order to meet the requirements of the modern business world sustainably. This combination of proven basic knowledge and new cause for thought from the digital world has been excellently achieved by the MCI with its business engineering degree.Thanks to the smart curriculum design and the healthy mix of practitioners and academics as lecturers, I was able to compare different perspectives on certain problems and thus specifically include new methods in my repertoire of activities.
