Lukas Eberharter
When I look back at my time at MCI...
…I primarily think of a very practice-oriented yet academically sound education. Studying at MCI not only provided me with professional expertise, but also shaped my way of thinking – structured, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial. Above all, I look back on a great and enriching time with my fellow students.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
My studies at MCI prepared me very well for my current role, as they consistently combine theory and practice. The solid knowledge in project management, process understanding, and economic interrelations is particularly valuable today. In the abrasives industry, I work at the interface between marketing, production, and customers – and this is exactly where I benefit from the skills acquired during my studies: communicating technical solutions clearly, analyzing customer requirements, and developing practical applications together with internal teams. Presentations, hands-on projects, and MCI’s strong industry focus provided a solid foundation for this.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
I would recommend MCI to anyone interested in a practice-oriented degree program with strong industry relevance. Especially for students who aim to work in technical, application-oriented, or consulting roles, MCI offers excellent preparation. You should be willing to actively engage and take responsibility – in return, you receive a high-quality education, access to a strong network, and excellent prospects for demanding positions.
