Study program: Management, Communication & IT Bachelor & Master

When I look back at my time at MCI...

When I look back on my time at MCI today, I look back on a great chapter in my life. The five years I spent at MCI doing my Bachelor and Master degrees were quite varied indeed. There were intensive examination phases, interesting and instructive lectures, and a lot of group work and presentations.
For recreation and a work-life balance, there were also some parties and exciting trips, including a semester abroad to Bali as well as a study tour to San Francisco. Today, I am still happy with my decision to study at #MCiT.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

In the Management, Communication & IT study program, students are equipped with many important tools that are necessary in an interface function between IT and the commercial areas of a company - an ideal basis for my current job as an ERP consultant.
On the one hand, I understand the requirements and business processes of our customers, and on the other hand, I have the technical understanding for the process mapping in the software. Of course, it was also beneficial to give presentations during my studies, because presenting to customers and colleagues is also part of my job as a consultant. This, as in my studies, I have sometimes managed to do with more preparation, and other times with less. The broad spectrum of subjects certainly helped me to get to where I am today. I did my mandatory internship at BE-terna 6 years ago and still enjoy working there today. Therefore, I can say that the MCI not only prepared me well for my working life, but also opened the doors to my current job.
