When I look back at my time at MCI...
I close my eyes for a moment, take a deep breath and see the best two years of my life before my eyes. The MCI team, my fellow students and life in Innsbruck have all helped me to mature both professionally and personally, given me the best tools for a successful career and left me with wonderful, priceless memories that will always make me happy.
How did your studies at MCI prepare you for your current job?
My boss always tells me that I'm ambitious to the max, and he's right. Thanks to the strong connection to industry and the numerous external lecturers, I learned at MCI how to act in a goal-oriented way: First, take a step back to visualize the "big picture", and then, set priorities, define a structure and work pragmatically towards the goal. Thanks to MCI, I have developed strong presentation skills, which are essential in business to convince one's people, as well as management and customers. "Do good, and talk about it" is the motto to never forget. Last but not least, MCI is about soft skills. Yes, MCI enables its students to develop, on the one hand, a strong and broad technical understanding, and, on the other hand, soft skills, such as empathy, positivity and leadership orientation, which quickly become the USP to stay one step ahead.
What would you tell someone who is considering studying at MCI?
If you are looking for a "life-changing experience" or if you don't know exactly what you want to do in the future, but you want one thing for sure, and that is to be successfully positioned for the future, then MCI is the right place for you. A large organization with a family atmosphere awaits you, where you will quickly feel at home. Highly qualified professors will teach you a very broad and future-oriented technical understanding, and through external lecturers and guests, you will quickly build up an industrial network that will support your career leap into the job market in the best way possible.
