The Master’s program Management, Communication & IT is a full-time degree program. Seminars and lectures take place Wednesday noon to Saturday afternoon and will comprise 8 teaching units per day. This teaching schedule allows students to continue with their professional activities during their studies or gain practical experience in the field.

This dual degree program is designed for dedicated students who are willing to take on the challenges related to graduate education from a European and an American perspective - with a joint area of emphasis on Management, Communication & IT. As such, this program involves intensive transatlantic preparation through a one-year study abroad engagement in the second year of their study program. There are no additional tuition fees at UNO.

Double degree agreements are the supreme discipline in cooperation between universities. We have a long lasting relationship with our partner university in the far north, the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. This double degree program enables students to obtain a Master of Arts in Business at MCI and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Haaga-Helia at the same time.

There are no additional tuition fees to be paid at our Finnish partner institution.

Graduates of the program are conferred the academic title of Master of Arts in Business, in short MA or M.A. This is attested by a leaving certificate, the Master diploma, the international diploma supplement, and further documents where relevant. MCI Alumni are entitled to combine their academic degree with the brand “MCI” to provide trust and orientation in an increasingly intransparent international education market. Example: MA (MCI).

As part of our MCiT Master's program, students have the option to spend the 3rd semester at one of our numerous partner universities. As a rule, no tuition fees are charged at our partner universities.

Exchange of experience, discussions, common understanding, development and solution as well as support and challenge are important components for me as a lecturer when dealing with students. Every time I enter a lecture hall, I expose myself to a new challenge - in a positive sense. MCiT students are multi- and interdisciplinary, international and above all curious. These are all prerequisites for creating valuable lessons together. In addition, my industry experience helps me to teach students new and interesting practical competences. It is always an exciting and valuable experience and challenge!

Wolfgang Haas; Head of Sales Operations, D. Swarovski KG

In my function as responsible for digitization in sales at D. Swarovski KG, I am aware of the importance of an excellent overall economic comprehension coupled with adequate technical know-how. The points of contact of different departments and the potential of IT-technical solutions as enablers for the opening of silos is what I particularly enjoy when working together with students during the lecture.

Acting as Vice President for Corporate Legal Services, Mobility Services (SC), I work with my team in a highly dynamic and innovative field. Success in projects depends on people who think holistically, on colleagues who understand and bring together different professional perspectives. I try to convey this basic knowledge and this mindset to the MCiT students.
