"Studying part-time at MCI was the ideal way for me to combine my athletic and academic goals. As a ski racer, I am on the road a lot and train or race mainly during the day, so the online lectures in the evening really met my schedule."

FAQs

The contents of the modules are the same in both time models. The only difference lies in the courses' organizational form and the duration of a semester. You can find more details on the websites of the respective study programs.

We offer our part-time study programs in various formats. Programs designed almost exclusively for on-site attendance usually take place on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at the MCI Campus.

Some study programs, on the other hand, are offered in a blended learning format.  These combine regular online webinars, usually held in the evenings, with blocked attendance days, allowing for the greatest possible flexibility in terms of time and location.

You can find more details on the websites of the respective study programs.

As with the full-time models, the part-time Bachelor's programs consist of six semesters, while the Master's and Executive Master's programs consist of four (exception: two semesters for Digital Business & Tech Law LL.M.). However, the duration of the semesters differs. For example, fall and spring semesters usually start earlier and end later in our part-time models.

You can find more details on the websites of the respective study programs.

The tuition fees for Executive Master programs vary and can be found on the respective websites.

The workload can vary from program to program and week to week. In addition to weekly classroom sessions and online webinars, you will also be expected to spend time on project work and self-study. Nevertheless, part-time models are compatible with full-time employment in terms of time.

You can find more details on the websites of the respective study programs.

No, employment is not required to study part-time.

In a dual study program, each semester consists of a study phase at the MCI and a practical phase at a partner business, closely linking practice and theory during the course of study. In contrast to part-time models, which do not require students to be employed, a dual study program is accompanied by subject-related employment.
