Technology-based Entrepreneurship: From the Idea to the Startup I

Course contents
As part of this course, students are instructed in developing ideas for technology start-ups in the field of environmental and energy technology. The aim is for students to have a promising start-up idea at the end of the semester that can be built on in the following semesters.
Initially, students are introduced to various problems and challenges in the field of environmental and energy technology. They are encouraged to develop their own ideas to solve these challenges. The students are encouraged to discuss their ideas in groups and develop them further.
The students then present their developed ideas to the group and receive feedback from lecturers and fellow students.
At the end of the semester, the students concretize their start-up idea, which is further elaborated in the following semesters and finally implemented in a concrete start-up concept. The content and progress of the project is presented by the students on a suitable digital platform, which can also be made accessible to the public, provided there are no objections from the course or the students.
