Technology-based Entrepreneurship: From the Idea to the Startup IV

Course contents
Students develop their own business model and practise the associated pitching. Both are carried out along a practical learning dimension. The focus is placed more strongly on internal student feedback ("peer review") than in the previous courses. In terms of content, the following topics are covered:

Business modeling:
Business modeling in technology start-ups is a crucial step for the success of a company. An analysis of business models of successful technology start-ups helps to develop a better understanding of how business models work and how they are developed.

Customer development:
Students learn to identify customer needs, define a target audience and use customer feedback to further develop the business model. Value proposition design is about creating a value proposition that meets customer needs and differentiates the startup from the competition.

Business plan:
Students learn the structure and interaction of the contents of a business plan.

Pitching:
Students will learn various techniques to convince stakeholders of various coleur with an effective pitch.

As in the previous semester, the progress of the project is documented on a suitable digital platform.
